We take all our pets to this veterinarian. He's excellent at explaining things and taking the time to explain it. A doctor that cares is important to me whether it's for my health or my pet's. This is the best veterinarian I have ever been to!!! Dr Harris and his staff were so kind and patient with myself and my Bentley!!! We are new in the area and a friend recommended Dr. Harris. Bentley tussled with a coyote which resulted in some very significant wounds! I couldn't get my poor dog out of the car, so the staff came out to us. I have never been so impressed with the kindness and compassion of a veterinarian and their staff!! Bentley had surgery and is now resting comfortably. I would highly recommend this vet!!!!

My dog got bit by the rattle snake on Thursday, June 25 at 11:30 am at Jalama beach. I was sent to Lompoc Vet clinic by our camp ranger. While I was driving there I have received a phone call from LVC (unfortunately I don't recall lady's name... Loreen(?). She told me that their clinic doesn't have an anti-venom vaccine and she re-directed me to SB VCA hospital She sent me a text with hospital address, gave me very detailed directions how to get there, stayed with me on a phone to make sure that I understood everything, she also answered all my question about rattle snake bites. Also she called to Santa Barbara VCA to tell them that we were on our way. She was very friendly, professional and patient with me over the phone. She safe me a lot of time by promptly re-directing me to another clinic, my dog survived and I'm very happy and pleased by her wonderful skills. Thank you very much!!

We've used Dr. Harris at the Lompoc Vet Clinic for as long as we have owned animals in Lompoc and have never been disappointed in the services he provides!
The front desk staff are wonderful, and the level of care provided for our pets is second to none. Dr. Harris really cares about the wellbeing of your pets, and it is clear that the wellbeing of your pets are his number one priority. If your dog is fat, he'll tell you - don't take it in the wrong way, it's because he cares.
If you are looking for a local, family owned and operated vet clinic with reasonable rates, this is the one you should go to!
